As a biologist I like to give my little contribution to science. With colleague Andrea Battisti we collect data on butterfly populations in the Italian alps. Our main line of research focuses on the population and habitat selection of the most rare butterfly of Europe, Erebia christi. The habitat of this species is so extreme it forced us to get vertical: we used rope to get on the vertical rock faces this butterfly use as home.
