ResAlliance (complete name “Landscape resilience knowledge alliance for agriculture and forestry in the Mediterranean basin”) is a thematic network project funded by the Horizon Europe Programme of the European Union. The aim is to provide foresters and farmers with the knowledge and tools necessary to implement innovative landscape resilience solutions.

As the Communication Project Leader for the Horizon Europe-funded ResAlliance project, I developed and implemented comprehensive communication strategies to engage stakeholders and promote project objectives for multi-national audiences. This included managing editorial calendars for websites and social media, organizing transnational events, overseeing digital content dissemination, creating targeted informational materials (brochures, roll-ups, and cards), and handling all internal communication needs between partners from five European countries. By crafting targeted campaigns and employing tools like GA4, Metricool and ActiveCampaign for data-driven adjustments, I ensured measurable outcomes in audience engagement and awareness.

As the social media manager for the ResAlliance project, I played a key role in developing strategies to boost stakeholder engagement, increase website traffic, and promote project materials. By designing targeted campaigns, I helped drive visibility and encourage interaction with the project’s resources, ensuring measurable impact across digital platforms. Examples of targeted campaigns include the promotion of the project’s online course (with a KPI of 500 participants), the promotion of the ResAlliance Forum, and the Call4Innovators video contest, among others. These campaigns comprise different phases (pre-, during, and post-) and are also supported by specific advertising campaigns. I was also in charge of content creation—ranging from graphics to videos—for all social media platforms, and I served as the copywriter for all social media posts.

I managed the editorial calendar for the Facebook and LinkedIn pages of the ResAlliance project, using posts for event coverage, storytelling, carousel formats and polls and building on the partners’ network to broaden the project’s message. This approach ensured timely and consistent content aligned with key project milestones, driving audience engagement across both platforms.

As part of my role, I managed the YouTube channel for the ResAlliance project, ensuring the timely upload of videos from the project’s campaign called “Call for innovators”, showcasing videos submitted by participants to the contest. I handled basic video editing when necessary to maintain quality and consistency, optimized video descriptions and tags for broader reach, and aligned content with audience preferences. I also managed the translation of all video subtitles in 6 languages and created a short presentation video of the project. This effort contributed to enhancing the project’s digital presence and facilitated the embedding of the videos on our website. I also created a dynamic motion graphic video to present the ResAlliance project, to effectively communicate the project’s core message.

As the content writer for the ResAlliance project website, I create clear, engaging, and informative content tailored to diverse audiences. I contribute monthly articles to the news section, covering project updates, milestones, and relevant topics to maintain audience interest and highlight the project’s impact. Additionally, I work to enhance the website’s usability by adapting content and page design accordingly and ensure clarity in messaging, aligning all content with the project’s goals and a consistent professional tone.

Newsletter Strategy and Content Management

I created and managed a trimonthly newsletter for the ResAlliance project newsletter subscirbers, aimed at engaging stakeholders, sharing key updates, and promoting project milestones to a multinational audience. My content and strategy are always driven by statistical analysis, ensuring data-informed decisions to maximize engagement and impact.
